“Miraculous healing of my mum

Praised be Jesus Christ!

My name is Bożena. I attended the Holy Mass and the meeting with the prayer for healing one month ago, on Saturday 17th of November 2012. I cannot attend these meetings personally in Częstochowa, so I turn on my computer and take part in them as if I am there – I pray, kneel down, sing. I strongly prayed to the Lord for the health of three people from my closest family that day. One of them was my mum and she was the one whom God healed – healed from chronic insomnia, which she had been suffering from for many years. Mum is over 70 years old and she could not have slept for 20 years. I know that it sounds unbelievable – who would be able to bear it for so many years(…).”

In the New Testament, there is the term “earmark”. The noun “destiny” is not used. Everything happens as if the matter was only a work of God, not human understanding.

BIBLE

Romans 8, 29.30
29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son: that he might be the Firstborn amongst many brethren. 30 And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.
1 Corinthians 2, 7
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, a wisdom which is hidden, which God ordained before the world, unto our glory: (8)

Ephesians 1, 5.11
5 Who has predestinated us unto the adoption of children through Jesus Christ unto himself: according to the purpose of his will: (6)
11 In whom we also are called by lot, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will.
Acts 4, 28
28 to do what your hand and your counsel decreed to be done.

YOUR SIGNATURE CAN SAVE LIVES – “I am guilty, my guilt is my faith. I believe in God – Jesus Christ.”

“I am guilty, my guilt is my faith. I believe in
 God  Jesus Christ.”

On this time writing the article is not really needed. Content of petition speaks for itself:

Asia Bibi, a wife and mother, used these words to defend her faith against mocking co-workers who tried to make her convert to Islam. She was later convicted of blasphemy and sentenced to death.

In Pakistan, more than 150,000 Christians have signed a petition demanding justice for persecution victims, including Asia Bibi. Now you can join with The Voice of the Martyrs and our Pakistani brothers and sisters in a call for mercy. We hope to gather 1 million signatures on behalf of our sister Asia, who now sits in prison awaiting the Lahore High Court‘s ruling on her appeal.

Invite your friends to visit http://www.CallForMercy.com and add their names to the petition as well. VOM will deliver the petition, along with the list of signers, to the Pakistani Embassy in Washington DC.”

[English] Saint – Saints.

The word “holy” without direct connections with other terms in the Old Testamentis very rare. Rather, you could meet with such a determination in relation to end times. In the

New Testament, this term means the Christians. Initially it was used only with relation to members of the community in Jerusalem, and esp. to a small group who experienced Pentecost. In time it was used against the brothers of Judea, then to all the faithful; Christians participate in the holiness of God through the Holy Spirit.
The holiness of Christians, having a source of God’s choosing, demands from them a complete break with sin and pagan rites. This demand the sanctity of life, is the basis of all Christian ascetic tradition. Not based on the ideal of law, which is something external, but the dedication to the rule of Jesus Christ – Second Divine Person, God IHWH. Read the rest of this entry »

[English] Holy – Holy Spirit.

The main culprit of sanctifying Christians is the Holy Spirit. However, His activity is different from the Old Testament the Spirit of God. Abundance and universality of the gifts of the Holy Spirit means that fulfilled the messianic times from the day of the resurrection of Christ. His coming is associated with faith in the mystery of Christ dead and risen. His presence is persistent, and Paul states that the redeemed are “temples of the Holy Spirit”, “temples of God” (1 Cor 6, 11 20; compare: 1 Corinthians 3, 16 – 17), and that being in real communion with Him. Because “all of which animates the Spirit of God are sons of God” (Rom 8, 14 – 17), hence we can say that Christians are children of God, because of access to the source of the holiness of God. Holy – The Sanctity of Jesus.

The Baptism of Christ

Image via Wikipedia

God is holy and that is why the saints should be chosen by Him; and the holiness of his name to be revealed in the coming of His Kingdom. But underlying the New Testament concept of holiness seem to be Pentecost, which is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

Christ‘s holiness is closely linked to his divine sonship and the presence of the Holy Spirit in Him. During the baptism given to Him by John, Jesus Christ receives the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Miracles and teachings of Jesus to be not only admirable character of his power, but rather the words of His holiness; to Him a man feels as a sinner, as against the First People of God: “God – the Father.”

As a “holy servant” of God (Acts 4, 27.30) who died, although the author of life, Christ is the Holy in the full sense of the word; Therefore God exalted Him. Read the rest of this entry »

THE PRESENCE OF GOD – THE MYSTERY OF THE PRESENCE IN THE SPIRIT.

For the Apostoles, death of Jesus Christ had to be
a huge test of faith in His being the God, in the words which He had spoken (and especially their implementation), after His crucifiction, and
a huge test of faith in His truly resurrection for the Apostoles, when He began to appear, before the descent of the Holy Spirit upon them, in Pentecost (gr. πεντηκοστή [ἡμέρα] Pentekoste [Hemera]).

The fact that Jesus Christ – God is present in those who accept Him by faith, and which He feeds by His Body, that He is among those who gather together to pray in His Name, that He is present in His Word, in His creation, convinced quite painfully, persecuting the followers of Christ, Saul  [Hebrew שאול התרסי Shaul ha-Tarsus, born. 5-10 in Tarsus in Cilicia, and died.  64-67 in Rome]:

“And Saul, as yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues: that if he found any men and women of this way, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
3 And as he went on his journey, it came to pass that he drew near to Damascus. And suddenly a light from heaven shined round about him. 4 And falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? 5 Who said: Who are you, Lord? And he: I am Jesus whom you persecute. It is hard for you to kick against the goad. 6 And he, trembling and astonished, said: Lord, what will you have me to do? 7 And the Lord said to him: Arise and go into the city; and there it shall be told you what you must do. Now the men who went in company with him stood amazed, hearing indeed
a voice but seeing no man. 8 And Saul arose from the ground: and when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. But they, leading him by the hands, brought him to Damascus.
9 And he was there three days without sight: and he did neither eat nor drink”.
